UN Foundation
ROLE: Concept, Storyboards, Design, Animation
In the fall of 2016, I worked on a series of animations for The UN Foundation to help drive voter turnout. We focused on three areas, climate change, gender inequality, and poverty. The project had a tight deadline and I storyboarded, designed, and animated the three animations in two weeks. I started with the client approving storyboards to avoid more time-consuming work later on in the project. Once I had the client's approval I moved into Illustrator to build out the scenes. I prefer to design my own assets when time allows but due to the time constraint I depended on asset libraries for most of the elements. With the scenes built I was able to move into After Effects and work quickly to meet the deadline. The only additional outside help was with the script and voice-over.
